Freeze a device at any moment and roll back to it later, or clone a finished set-up into new devices, each with its own identity. Saved states and stopped devices cost nothing.
Three things a saved state is for.
A snapshot freezes the whole device: apps, logins, files and settings. What you do with it depends on the job.
Undo
Take a snapshot before an update, an experiment or a risky change. If it goes wrong, restore and the device is exactly as it was.
Clone
Turn one finished set-up into as many new devices as you need, instead of installing and configuring each one by hand.
Reset between runs
Tests and AI agents start every run from the same state. Reset takes about as long as a restart.
A copy of the set‑up, not of the phone.
A clone gets your apps, files and settings, but not the original's hardware identity. Each new device gets its own serial number, IMEI, SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth addresses and a fresh Android ID.

Do snapshots cost anything?
No. Snapshots and saved states are included in the device price, and a stopped device costs nothing. You pay only while devices run: $0.004 a minute or $12.00 a month.
How long does a restore take?
About as long as a restart: the saved state is put back on disk and the device boots into it.
Do clones keep the accounts I was signed in to?
Yes. A clone copies apps and their data, including signed-in sessions. If each device must run its own account, clone a set-up before signing in, then sign in on each clone.
How many clones can I make?
As many as you need; each clone is a regular device billed like any other. Clone to a group of devices from the dashboard or in a loop over the API.
Can I schedule backups?
Yes. Dashboard → Snapshots → Nightly backup takes a snapshot of a group on the days and time you choose and keeps only the most recent ones.
