The short version: prepaid, per device, cancel by stopping. The full version is below.
CLOUSD provides Android devices that run on our servers ("devices"), a web dashboard, a streaming view of the device screen, an API and related tools. You control the devices; we keep them running. Device models, Android versions, regions and network options available at any moment are listed in the dashboard and may change.
You need an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping the password and API keys secret. Two-factor sign-in is available in Account settings and we recommend it. Team members you invite act on your behalf within the access you give them.
The service is prepaid. You top up a balance and charges are taken from it as they occur:
Current prices are always shown on the Pricing page and in the dashboard before you confirm a charge; we may change them for future charges with notice on that page. Stopped devices are free to keep. If your balance reaches zero, running per-minute devices are stopped and monthly devices stop at the end of their paid term until you top up. Every charge and top-up is listed in Billing.
Top-ups are made in cryptocurrency to the address and exact amount shown on the invoice. A payment is credited after the network confirms it. Payments sent to a different network, a different token, or an amount that cannot be matched to an invoice may be delayed or lost; use the "already paid" form on the invoice page and contact support if that happens. Prepaid balance is not refunded automatically; unused balance can be refunded on request at our discretion, less any charges already incurred. We do not store card details.
You may use devices only in ways that are legal in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction of the servers, and only in compliance with the terms of any third-party service or app you run on them. You must not use the service to attack, defraud or harass anyone, to distribute malware, to process content that is illegal, or to interfere with other customers or our infrastructure. We may suspend or stop devices and accounts that break these rules, and we may report unlawful activity where the law requires it.
Apps, files, accounts and settings on a device belong to you. We do not look inside devices except to operate the service, investigate abuse or as required by law. Deleting a device deletes its data from our servers; deleting your account deletes all your devices. Snapshots and profiles are stored until you delete them or the account.
We aim to keep devices running and reachable around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Devices may be restarted for maintenance. Health, incidents and what we did about them are shown in the dashboard. If a fault on our side keeps a device down, tell support and we will credit the affected time on request.
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from third-party services acting on accounts you operate through a device. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
You can stop using the service at any time: stop or delete devices, or delete the account from Account settings. We may close accounts that break these terms or stay unused with a zero balance for a long period, with notice by email where possible.
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA.
